Welcome to Bits of Cozy, where you can find things to add bits of softness and coziness to your life. My name is Peggy and I make things out of fabric and yarn mostly by crocheting, knitting, or sewing. My mother taught me so many crafts when I was younger, and our home was and is full of the things she and I made. Seeing the piano scarf she crocheted, the quilts and clothes she sewed, or the hat and mittens she made just for me makes me feel warm and cozy inside, even though she's no longer here. I want to share that coziness with other people by making little things that will make their hearts smile. I learned a lot from my mom, my friends, and the customers who came by my fabric counter wanting fabric, help with their projects, or just to show off their projects. So while crochet is my main craft, you'll also eventually find machine and loom knit items, cross-stitched items, and a few other fiber arts represented. Right now, while I figure this out, it will probably be a lot of hats, mitts, and scarves; but I'm hoping to add kitchen stuff soon too, as what is more cozy than the kitchen?
